What’s Happening:
- The wait is almost over for fans of Disney Junior’s Mira, Royal Detective with the second season kicking off on Monday, april 5th.
- New episodes will air Mondays at 5/4c on Disney Junior and the network has 8 brand-new episodes lined up through May 24th.
- A special holiday episode about Eid al-Fitr called “The Eid Mystery” will debut on May 3rd where Mira tries to find the owner of a lost eidi gift envelope. SILA Consulting served as a cultural advisor for this episode.
- Other holidays celebrated in the second season include the festivals of Teej and Dasara.
- Guest voices in the second season include Ritesh Rajan (The Jungle Book), Lilly Singh (A Little Late with Lilly Singh), Aly Mawji (Silicon Valley), Tiya Sircar (The Good Place), Usman Ally (Lifeline) and world-renowned musician Zakir Hussain.
- The entire first season of Mira, Royal Detective is coming to Disney+ on April 30th.
- Walt Disney Records will release Disney Junior Music: Mira, Royal Detective Vol. 2 as a digital soundtrack on April 23rd.
