What’s Happening:
- The Hollywood Reporter states that Chet Dave has been promoted to senior vice president of comedy development at 20th Television.
- Dave joined 20th Television in 2013, and has worked on series including ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat and Speechless. He has also worked on the upcoming Disney+ series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.
- In the new role, Dave will look for emerging writers and work on projects from pitch to series.
- Dave will report to the executive vice president of development Carolyn Cassidy.

- Carlos W. Williams has been named Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Operations for 20th Television and Freeform, a new role created as part of Disney’s ongoing restructuring of their content-creation divisions.
