Let’s hope the third time's a charm for the West End production of Frozen as Disney Theatrical announces a new opening date of September 8, 2021. Tickets for the highly anticipated musical are now on sale to the public for select dates through early April 2022.
What’s Happening:
- Following two postponements, Disney Theatrical Productions has announced that Frozen is back on sale to the public, opening at the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane on September 8, 2021.
- Previews will begin on August 27, 2021. Currently, the theatre is booking tickets through April 3, 2022.
- In the first booking period, Frozen has scheduled the following access performances:
- Signed Performance (Sunday, December 5th – 1pm matinee)
- Relaxed Performance (Sunday, December 19th – 12:30pm matinee)
- Audio Described Performance (Sunday, January 23, 2022 – 1pm matinee)
- Captioned Performance (Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 5:30pm)
- In addition to the opening in London, the musical recently opened in Australia, and new productions will open in Japan and Germany this year, as well as seeing the return of the North American tour.
- Disney Theatrical has had to twice delay the premiere of Frozen due to the COVID-19 pandemic
