Jim Henson Biopic "Muppet Man" in the Works for Disney

It has been reported that a Jim Henson biopic — Muppet Man, is in the works for Disney.

What’s Happening:

Deadline has reported that Michael Mitnick (Vinyl) will be writing the script for Muppet Man, a live-action film currently in the works for Disney and The Jim Henson Company about the life of Jim Henson.
Henson’s daughter Lisa Henson will be producing the film with Mitnick rewriting a previous version of the script that was done by Aaron and Jordan Kandell.
The movie will go through Henson’s life focusing on him trying to convince broadcasters about The Muppets and bringing them to air.
