This week marks a very emotional moment for fans of Disney theme parks, as Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are finally reopening in Southern California after being closed for more than a year.
In celebration of this momentous occasion, Disneyland Resort has announced a special live streaming moment on the Disney Parks Twitter feed and YouTube channel that will take place tonight at 8:30 PM Pacific: Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock will “reawaken the unique magic” of the Happiest Place On Earth by symbolically illuminating Sleeping Beauty Castle at the heart of Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom.

- Disneyland Resort will stream a live moment tonight from Disneyland’s hub featuring Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock giving a “heartfelt presentation” and sharing “messages of optimism and gratitude to Cast Members.”

- Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks will officially reopen this Friday, April 30 after closing their gates in mid-March of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets for the parks reopening are available now, and reservations are required to enter each specific park.
