Photos – Downtown Disney Holds Reservation-Only Shopping Event for May the 4th

Happy May the 4th! With all the merchandise releases going on, Mike decided to take a trip over to Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort for the special reservation-only shopping event.

A list of items for sale was nicely displayed in a sheet to help you figure out what to get, including purchasing limits and prices for each item.

Disneyland sent out a message notifying those with reservations on May 4 and May 5 that the pin featured above in an original post for the reservation-only shopping event is not for sale. So heads up if you were planning on picking it up when you come over.

If you’re a Legacy Passholder, make sure to have your digital discount ticket ready to go on the Disneyland app.

Starbucks’ “Been there Series” has some new additions to purchase including Tatooine, Batuu, and Endor. These were spotted at the Star Wars Trading Post. These are retailing for $19.99 each and can also be purchased on shopDisney.

Merchandise displays for the event featured hats, shirts, figures, and The Bad Batch merchandise. New Spirit Jerseys like the Star Wars character logo Spirit Jersey ($64.99) featuring some of the franchise favorites, and the R2-D2 Costume Spirit Jersey ($69.99) were on sale. Both are available on shopDisney.

Mike picked up the May the 4th 2021 shirt ($29.99) and a May the 4th 2021 pin ($15.99). You can also find these on shopDisney along with a kids’ size of the May the 4th shirt for $19.99.

Mike also picked up a Disney Parks Wishable, because who could resist these cute Star Wars versions released for May the 4th? He ended up getting Captain Rex! If you can’t head to the resort, you can grab the Star Wars Wishables online at shopDisney for $9.99.

The most incredible piece of merchandise released today has to be the Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set ($375.00). The set includes the case where inside you’ll have two hilts — Leia Organa’s Legacy Hilt and Reforged Skywalker Legacy Hilt, both inspired by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. When you open the case, it plays John Williams' “The Princess Appears” theme. The set is limited to 3,000 and can also be found on shopDisney for those interested.
