Jeremiah took a stroll around Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World today and took a look at some updates from around the park.
First up, the sand sculpture on Discovery Island, across from the Tree of Life, has been changed to Disney’s animated hit film Moana. This is in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month as Walt Disney World continues to honor the talents, cultures and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community with unique and special offerings throughout the parks and resorts.
Over by Expedition Everest, we got a look at a new digital board providing guests with up-to-date wait times from around the park as well as other helpful information for their visit.
In this same area, we found a new super zoom photo op, providing guests with a unique way to capture their memories from their visit.
It also appears as though Disney has updated the prayer flags in this area. Some of the flags appear to be much more vibrant and colorful than some of the older ones.
Finally, we spotted some new Animal Kingdom-themed magnets for sale. Each of these magnets is available now for $14.99.
