What’s Happening:

Deadline has reported that Jeremy Allen White is set to star in the pilot for FX’s The Bear.
White will play the lead role of a young chef who is returning to Chicago to help run the family restaurant.
The series comes from Christopher Storer, Hiro Murai’s (Atlanta) Super Frog, Joanna Calo (Bojack Horseman, Undone), and FX Productions.
The cast for the pilot includes Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher), Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott (How I Met Your Mother), and Matty Matheson.

FX has put in a series order for a new animated show Little Demon starring Aubrey Plaza, Danny DeVito, and Lucy DeVito.
FX has ordered two sessions of Welcome to Wrexham, a documentary series about the Welsh soccer club purchased by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The next The New York Times Presents documentary will be coming to FX and FX on Hulu in June and it will be titled Who Gets to be an Influencer.
