Shanghai Disney Resort shared photos of the “Dream Garden” which has opened to the public, featuring a floral model of Shanghai Disneyland’s Enchanted Storybook Castle.

What’s Happening:

  • The Tenth China Flower Expo in Shanghai has opened today, featuring a floral model of Shanghai Disneyland’s Enchanted Storybook Castle at the center of the “Dream Garden.”
  • Located in the International and Enterprise Pavilion, the 710-square-meter “Dream Garden” was designed by Shanghai Disney Resort and Walt Disney Imagineering Shanghai and jointly created by Shanghai Shendi Group.
  • There will be a special ceremony at the expo on May 27, 2021, featuring performances and more.

  • The floral model features a golden finial featuring a Chinese peony flower.

  • Floral sculptures of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Daisy, Chip ‘n’ Dale can also be found under the “Once Upon a Time Archway,” inspired by the “Once Upon A Time Adventure” experience at the Enchanted Storybook Castle in Shanghai Disneyland.

  • Other floral and topiary arrangements depict other areas at Shanghai Disney Resort including Disneytown and Wishing Star Park.

  • The garden is inspired by traditional Chinese gardens found along the Yangtze River Delta.
