Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has announced that youth soccer will return starting this fall, with tournament and showcase dates released.
What’s Happening:
- Youth soccer is returning to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall starting in September.

- The sports complex was at the center of sports returning during the pandemic, with the 2020 NBA season and the MLS Is Back Tournament. The complex has since hosted multiple events including youth baseball, field hockey, soccer, and more.
Disney Cup Soccer Series:
- The season starts with the launch of the new Disney Cup Soccer Series, the three tournaments will have teams in various age divisions earn points based on their performance with at least four of the highest-scoring teams in each age group will advance to a single-elimination round on the second and third days of the Disney Memorial Day Soccer Tournament from May 28-30, 2022. Teams will be able to choose to play in one or all three events with winning teams taking home trophies and medals.
Disney Cup Soccer Series Tournaments:
- Disney Labor Day Soccer Tournament: Sept. 4 – Sept. 6, 2021
- Disney President’s Day Soccer Tournament: Feb. 19 – Feb. 21, 2022
- Disney Memorial Day Soccer Tournament: May 28 – May 30, 2022
Disney Soccer Showcase:
- Disney will also resume the Boys and Girls Soccer Showcases, featuring many of the nation’s highest-ranked youth players, giving them an opportunity to compete in front of college coaches.

- Disney Junior Soccer Showcase (U11-U14): Nov. 26 – Nov. 28, 2021
- Disney Boys Soccer Showcase (U15-U19): Dec 27 – Dec. 31, 2021
- Disney Girls Soccer Showcase (U15 – U19): Jan.15 – Jan. 17, 2022
