What’s Happening:
- Disney Parks Blog has announced a new collaboration between Disney and photographer Misan Harriman on a “Mickey & Friends Stay True: The Power of Friendship” photography series.
- The casting call invites everyone to submit their own friendship stories via the “What We Seee” website from now through Friday, June 18 for the opportunity to be photographed and featured in the “Mickey & Friends Stay True: The Power of Friendship” photography series and virtual exhibition.
- Misan will review the stories submitted, inviting those selected to participate in a physical or virtual photoshoot.
- Misan will be photographing celebrities and everyday people for the series that is inspired by the Sensational Six: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

- Last year on July 30, Disney celebrated International Friendship Day with a new campaign and global celebration called “Mickey and Friends: Stay True” honoring almost 100 years of Mickey Mouse and his friends. The celebration asked people to share their friendship stories for a chance to be shared on Good Morning America.
- The celebration continued in November 2020 with a collaboration with Chef Roy Choi debuting specialty pizzas themed to one of the Sensational Six pals.
