Now confirmed by director Enrico Casarosa, John Ratzenberger is not featured in the new Disney Pixar film Luca.
What’s Happening:
- Fans have been wondering when we would hear John Ratzenberger’s voice again in a Pixar film, and it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer as Luca director Enrico Casarosa confirmed via Twitter that Ratzenberger is not in the film.
- This will be the second film now that Ratzenberger is not vocally featured. A character with the likeness of him did appear in Disney and Pixar’s Soul.
- Hopefully we get to hear more of Ratzenberger in future Pixar films, but for now we will have to wait.
- If you haven’t seen Luca yet, it is now available to all Disney+ subscribers and you can check out Alex’s review of the film here.
- Once you’ve watched it (maybe more than once) you can look up some of the Easter eggs we’ve spotted in the film.
