Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle has announced Cast Member previews of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure coming next month, but has hinted at possible soft openings and other previews for guests coming soon as well.
What’s Happening:
- As July comes to a close, Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle took to Instagram to announce a special opportunity for Cast Members of the Walt Disney World Resort in August, to be among the first to experience the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT before it opens to the public on October 1st.
- Vahle captioned his post: “Walt Disney World Cast Members, we’re COOKING up some fun for you! Starting next month, you will have the opportunity to experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before it officially opens to our Guests on October 1. More info will be posted on the HUB soon, so keep an eye out. And if you’re not a Cast Member, there may still be a way for you to see this attraction before it opens. More details to come!”
- That last line is what will likely catch the eye of many a park fan, insinuating that soft openings of the attraction are on the horizon.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is officially scheduled to open on Friday, October 1 in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. The attraction will not feature a height requirement, and guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is based on the hit 2007 Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille and is a clone of an existing attraction called Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. The experience will be part of a newly expanded France pavilion inside EPCOT that will also officially open October 1, along with a new restaurant called La Crêperie de Paris that will offer both table service and quick-service options.
