- The album features 42 songs from the second season of the Emmy and NAACP Image Award-nominated Apple Original series Central Park from creators, writers and executive producers Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith.
- From rock to hip-hop, Broadway, R&B and beyond, guest songwriters contributing to the season two soundtrack include:
- Grammy Award winning rock band They Might Be Giants
- Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright
- Grammy Award-nominated Tank & The Bangas
- Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and pianist Regina Spektor

- Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Ingrid Michaelson
- In addition to the original songs by the guest songwriters, there are also several tunes in each episode written by the show composers, Kate Anderson & Elyssa Samsel (Olaf's Frozen Adventure).
- Musical arrangements are created by the music production team, including executive music producer Frank Ciampi (Alien News Desk, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), music supervisor Patrick Dacey (Bob’s Burgers) and music editor Tim Dacey (Bob’s Burgers).
