ESPN has expanded David Roberts’ responsibilities and the Senior Vice President of Production will now oversee the network’s NBA production including regular and postseason games among others.

- ESPN has announced that David Roberts has been chosen to lead ESPN’s NBA production spanning event and studio content.
- The news of Roberts’ new responsibilities was shared by James A. Pitaro, Chairman, ESPN and Sports Content.
- As part of his NBA role, Roberts will oversee production for:
- All regular-season and NBA Playoffs games
- NBA Finals
- NBA Draft
- NBA Countdown
- The Jump
- Roberts will also continue leading production for:
- First Take
- SportsCenter (6 pm ET edition)
- Get Up
- Pardon the Interruption
- Around The Horn
- ESPN Audio content
- ESPN digital shows
- And other properties
- Roberts' new role will have him reporting directly to Pitaro on the NBA category.
- He will also report to Norby Williamson, Executive Vice President and Executive Editor, Production, for all additional content.
