ESPN and ABC have announced the NBA Christmas Day games slate for Saturday, December 25, 2021. ESPN has also shared the schedule of games for 2021-22 NBA opening week.
What’s Happening:
- Five games will be coming to ESPN and ABC on Christmas day with all games available to stream on the ESPN app.
- This will mark the 20th consecutive season of NBA coverage for ESPN and ABC.
- ABC’s schedule begins at 2:30 pm ET with the Milwaukee Bucks hosting the Boston Celtics, followed by the Phoenix Suns hosting the Golden State Warriors at 5:00 pm ET, and finishing with the primetime matchup of the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Brooklyn Nets at 8:00 pm ET.
- ESPN will have coverage starting at 12:00 pm ET with the New York Knicks hosting the Atlanta Hawks and the final game of the night at 10:30 pm ET with the Utah Jazz hosting the Dallas Mavericks.
2021-22 NBA Opening Week:
- ESPN has also shared the 2021-2022 NBA regular season opening week coverage, starting on Wednesday, October 20 at 7:30 pm ET with the New York Knicks hosting the Boston Celtics then going to the Phoenix Suns hosting the Denver Nuggets at 10:00 pm ET.
- On October 22, ESPN will feature the Philadelphia 76ers hosting the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 pm ET and the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Phoenix Suns at 10:00 pm ET.
