Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders can now take a photo with a Disneyland icon J. Thaddeus Toad. The star of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, an opening day Fantasyland attraction, the photo op places Guests next to the fabulous character. If you look closely, the deed he’s holding is not to Toad Hall or even a motor car, but a Disneyland Magic Key!
Pictured with Toad is our very own Southern California reporter Mike Celestino, who recently became a Magic Key holder and got to take a preview today of all of the introductory offers for Magic Key holders, including the Starcade experience and Magic Key Terrace.
The Mr. Toad photo opportunity is located on the Fantasyland side of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park, just steps from Toad Hall (aka Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride). It’s only available for a limited time and goes away on October 30th. Magic Key holders receive a complimentary digital download of this Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot. Magic Key holders must show proof of their Magic Key status in the Disneyland app in order to get their photo taken at this location.
It’s easy to spot Magic Key benefit locations by looking for the magical logo throughout the Disneyland Resort. You can also watch Mr. Toad in his starring role in The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad on Disney+.
