What’s Happening:
- Jeff Vahle, president of the Walt Disney World Resort, shared photos of a dedication ceremony held on September 15 at Magic Kingdom Park honoring Walt Disney World Cast Members with a new plaque that can be found by the Mickey and Minnie Fab 50 Character Collection sculptures.
- Jeff was joined by George Kalogridis, the Global Ambassador for Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Walt Disney World Ambassadors, and many Cast Members.
The plaque reads:
- “Walt Disney World Cast Members have always been the heart of our magic. These statues of Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse are dedicated to celebrate Cast Members past, present, and future. Thank you for making Walt Disney’s dream a reality. Dedicated this 15th day of September, 2021.”
Along with the dedication, Jeff announced that 50-year Cast Members will have a special party next week and that distribution of the new EARidescent nametags for Cast will also finish.
