Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed via Twitter that Shrek 4D, along with Shrek’s Ye Olde Souvenir Shoppe, will close permanently on January 10, 2022.
What’s Happening:
- Shrek 4D, an interactive show at Universal Studios Florida, which originally opened on June 12, 2003, has long been rumored to be on the chopping block.
- Following rumors that popped up all over Twitter, Universal confirmed that the attraction, and its companion gift shop will be closing on January 10, 2022.
- Universal also took the time to note that the Meet Shrek and Donkey experience will continue to operate after Shrek 4D’s closure.
