With Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar already available in several Asia Pacific countries—and launching this November in three more—Disney has announced new titles that will be coming soon to the streaming platforms.
What’s Happening:
- Disney+ has taken the world by storm, as the Walt Disney Company continues to launch it’s streaming service in international markets.
- Variety is reporting that Disney’s service in the Asia Pacific market will soon be receiving twenty-seven new titles. The news was shared during a live presentation in Tokyo earlier this week.
- Fans in select international regions with Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar (exclusive television and sports streaming akin to Hulu and ESPN+ in the U.S.) will be able to enjoy a variety of new series, movies and specials coming to the platform such as the Blackpink documentary (South Korea), Shipwreck Hunters (Australia) and Summer Time Rendering (Japan).

- Twisted Wonderland – planned anime adaptation of Disney’s Twisted Wonderland mobile game by Aniplex
- Lost Man Found – drama series adapted from a novel about an actor struggling to find fame and the love of his life
- Gannibal – a village cop investigating rumors of cannibalism
