Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that the first round of auditions for the second season of American Idol would kick off at Walt Disney World. Talented singers and musicians showed up at ESPN Wide World of Sports this past Saturday to prove that they could be #TheNextIdol.
Early Saturday morning:
- Hundreds of American Idol hopefuls turned up early Saturday to audition fo the second season of revived hit show. Singers and musicians ages 15 and older arrived at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex as early as 4am to be the first in line to sing.
- The Idol Bus will continue its search for contestants visiting a total of 20 U.S. cities.

- Also on hand for the epic event was last season’s winner Maddie Poppe, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson and finalist Catherine Turner, The trio were later joined by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse for the official kickoff moment at Magic Kingdom Park.
