Radio DJ, comedian, author, and current Dancing with the Stars contestant, Bobby Bones will be sticking around ABC at least for a while. Bones has been announced as the in-house mentor for American Idol.

- Multimedia personality, Bobby Bones, has been announced as the American Idol in-house mentor.
- Bones will expand his role beginning this season where he’ll coach the contestants as they prepare for each week’s performances.
- Bones is no stranger to American Idol. Last season, he coached the Top 24 prior to taking the stage for their celebrity duets.
- In his expanded role this season, the award-winning personality will offer his industry expertise throughout the competition, helping contenders reach the next level of their artistry and performances.
