This fall, ABC is set to relaunch the landmark singing competition, American Idol. However, up until this point, only one judge has been named for the show: pop star Katy Perry. Now, according to Variety, country music recording artist Luke Bryan will be taking the second slot on the panel. The site also reports that the show will return to its original three-judge lineup as opposed to the four judges that served on later seasons. Still, that third judge has yet to be determined. ABC declined to comment to Variety about a possible deal with Bryan. American Idol — with returning host Ryan Seacrest —is set to debut this fall on ABC.
