Today marke the highly anticipated opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. Of course, we had some of our team in the park to check out the new land and they took plenty of photos to share this experience.
Heading into the Disneyland Resort this morning was an experience all to itself, with so many guests looking to get into Avengers Campus on the very first day.
As we waited to get into the park, the first window opened up for the virtual queue for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a boarding pass in this first window. We did however manage to get the Spidey’s Sidekick achievement in the Play Disney Parks app.
Once inside Disney California Adventure, we joined the standby line for Avengers Campus, which stretched through Paradise Gardens Park and the World of Color viewing area, past Cars Land and into Hollywood Land.
While waiting in line, we grabbed a commemorative park map, featuring some details and art for Avengers Campus.
The WDI senior creative team from Avengers Campus was also on the premises to greet guests on their way into the land.
Guests we also able to pick up a special opening day shirt to commemorate their visit.
After a while, guests with mobile food orders were allowed to enter Avengers Campus and we began our MArvel adventure!
Once inside we got to see Spider-Man in all his wall-crawling glory, Sam Wilson as Captain America and even the Dora Milaje all the way from Wakanda.
We also took a look at some of the details this new land has to offer, including the Orb of Cagliostro and the map of the Stark Industries facilities that once occupied this land.
Of course, we could experience Avengers Campus without trying out some of the exciting new food and beverage offerings. From the Pym Tasting Lab, we sampled the X-Periment and the Particle Fizz. And from Terran Treats, we tried out the Sweet Spiral Ration and the Cosmic Cream Orb.
Be sure to check back for more updates from our opening day experience at Avengers Campus. And check out the video below for a full walk and talk from Avengers Campus.
