It has been reported that black-ish has been renewed for its eighth and final season on ABC.

What’s Happening:
- Deadline reported that ABC has renewed black-ish for its eighth season, which will also be its last.
- Kenya Barris, creator and executive producer of the series, made the announcement on Instagram saying he is grateful for being able to decide when it should end and thanking everyone for making the show possible.
- The season finale of black-ish season seven, “Urban Legend,” will air on Tuesday, May 18 at 9:00 pm ET on ABC and guest star Boyz II Men.
About the Episode/Season Finale:
- “Dre feels pigeonholed to the urban marketing team at Stevens & Lido and realizes he needs to make some big career changes. Boyz II Men stop by the office to help out the team with a SoFi campaign pitch. Meanwhile, Junior has to deal with the twins who are overstaying their welcome at his and Olivia’s apartment”
- “Urban Legend” was written by Graham Towers & Ben Deeb and directed by Melissa Kosar.
