Chip ‘n’ Dale are getting an animated Disney+ reboot. It was announced this week that the mischievous duo will star in a series of shorts for Disney’s upcoming streaming platform.

- In addition to the Chip ‘n’ Dale shorts series, it was also revealed at the Annecy Film Festival that 101 Dalmatian Street will be coming to Disney+.
- The has been a popular hit with audiences in Europe and soon fans around the world will be able to enjoy these adventures.
- D23 shared the news in their recap of announcements from Annecy and notes, “the series, follows the story of Dylan, Dolly, and their 97 younger puppy siblings.”
What’s happening:
- Disney is rebooting a beloved animated shorts series for their upcoming streaming service, Disney+.
- During a presentation at the Annecy International Animation Festival in France, Disney announced the return of Chip ‘n’ Dale to an episodic format.
- Variety reports that the announcement was made during the Disney Channels and Disney Plus Animated Series press conference.
- The series is being developed by Disney’s London-based team along with Paris-based producer, Xilam.

- In addition to the Chip ‘n’ Dale shorts series for Disney+, the company is also reportedly looking to develop a Rescue Rangers film starring the duo. Earlier this year it was announced that Akiva Schaffer of Lonely Island had been tapped to helm the live-action/CGI project for Disney.
