Disney Cruise Line has shared new details on two new walk-up dining options coming to the Disney Wish when it sets sail in the summer of 2022 — Marceline Market and Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods.
What’s Happening:
- Disney Cruise Line will offer some great restaurant experiences including the newly revealed “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” but Guests can also enjoy some quick meals and snacks at walk-up options with the newly announced Marceline Market and Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods.
Marceline Market
- Marceline Market is named after Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, themed to an old industrial loft converted to a marketplace with both indoor and outdoor seating.
- The location will offer casual walk-around dining for breakfast and lunch with table-service at dinner with entrees cooked to order.
- Guests will find a changing menu of offerings where the local proprietors are all Disney characters and each station is themed to a film such as Tangled, Ratatouille, Alice in Wonderland, Zootopia, and more.
- Food items will include American classics, international specialties, comfort foods, seafood, soups and salads, vegetarian and plant-based fare, baked goods, and desserts.
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods
- Located in the middle of the upper decks, Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will be a place families can grab a quick lunch, dinner, or snack.
- At the location, Guests will be able to find the first dedicated quick-service venues for barbeque and Mexican-inspired fare.
- Guests will be able to grab food at five themed food stalls: Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream.
- Each stall is inspired by the seaside boardwalk setting from the Mickey Mouse shorts.
More on the Disney Wish:
- One of the brand-new experiences Guests will be able to enjoy is the AquaMouse. Described as a “Family water attraction,” this new water slide sets itself apart from the AquaDuck on previous ships by incorporating show scenes, lighting and special effects.
- There will also be a Toy Story Waterplay District for families to enjoy.
- The three restaurants on the ship are inspired by Frozen, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the year the Walt Disney Company was founded.
- For the first time on a Disney ship, Guests will embark on a space-jumping tour of the Star Wars galaxy at Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge — a high-end bar styled as a luxurious yacht-class spaceship that will offer themed, immersive experiences for Guests.
- The Disney Wish will present entertainment experiences that will immerse families in the fantastical worlds of their favorite Disney stories including Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular, and more.
- You can learn more about the Disney Wish in our full recap from the reveal event on April 29.
The Disney Wish will set sail in summer 2022.
