Hulu just released the first trailer for Dopesick and announced a premiere date of October 13th.

- Hulu’s highly anticipated 8-part limited series Dopesick premieres Wednesday, October 13th, with the first trailer now available.
- Dopesick chronicles how one company triggered the American opioid crisis through the lens of a small Virginia mining community, the DEA, and the boardrooms of Big Pharma.
- The limited series was inspired by the New York Times bestselling book of the same title by Beth Macy.
- Dopesick is written by Emmy-winner Danny Strong (Empire, Recount, Game Change) and directed by Oscar-winner Barry Levinson (Paterno, Rain Man), who both also serve as executive producers.
- Additional executive producers for Michael Keaton (star), John Goldwyn (Dexter), Warren Littlefield (The Handmaid’s Tale, Fargo, The Old Man), Beth Macy (Author) and Karen Rosenfelt (Twilight).
