Fresh Off the Boat
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Council President Herb Wesson, Jr., and Councilmember David Ryu recognized the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat for the cast and crew’s positive portrayal of Asian Pacific Americans (APA) in mainstream media. Day kicks off Los Angeles’ annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) highlighting L.A.’s vibrant APA history as well as showcasing APA’s contributions in shaping the social, cultural, and economic future of Los Angeles.
