As Epcot continues to undergo its multi-year transformation, walls have gone up in several areas throughout the park. Of course if you’ve visited in the past few months you know this isn’t a completely new look, but if it’s been a while since your last trip, then Epcot’s current appearance is quite a shock to the system.
We know construction means good things are coming, so we’ll grin and bear it as we wait for this Park’s grand reveal. In the meantime, here’s a peek at the walls in Future World, which will soon become three exciting neighborhoods during the transformation.
Epcot Entry
Epcot’s gorgeous entry plaza will soon welcome guests with new pathways, sweeping green spaces and a newly reimagined fountain.
“Exciting Changes are Coming” aka Pardon our Pixie Dust!
Even during construction, this Park icon is a favorite.
While it’s not quite a “bird’s eye” view of the construction, we’ve also been following the changes from the Monorail:
Future World East
Formerly Universe of Energy, soon to be Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Future World West
Outside the Imagination Pavilion
The ponds outside of the Imagination Pavilion have been drained and filled with rocks during construction.
While we’re on the subject of the Pavilion, did you know, a new Mickey Mouse meet and greet location will be debuting here in 2020? Yep, the Mouse that started it all, will be taking up residence near the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival.
