Disney+ Releases Season 2 Cast Photos from "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series"

Disney has released principal cast photos from the second season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series ahead of the show’s May 14th streaming debut on Disney+.

Anticipation is building for the second season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Today, Disney released principal cast photos from the eagerly anticipated second season, first released through Entertainment Weekly alongside exclusive quotes from the cast.
11 photos were released of cast members Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Dara Reneé, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Joe Serafini, Kate Reinders and Mark St. Cyr.
A couple of reveals from the article are the fact that both Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett have written new songs for the season.
They also say that the second season has even more singing and dancing than the first.
This season not only finds the cast putting on a production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, but also facing off against North High in a theater competition.
The North High plot brings in a few new cast members, including Derek Hough, Asher Angel, Andrew Barth Feldman, Roman Banks and Olivia Rose Keegan.
The second season also promises to be longer than the first, with 12 episodes produced.
