Jungle Cruise attractions at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom will soon be updated with a new storyline among other adjustments that will retain the humor and fun of the current experience, as well as “reflect and value the diversity of the world around us.” The changes will feature a new story as guests aboard the journey will follow what happened to another skipper and his passengers when their adventure went awry. Plus, for the first time in the attraction's history, guests will discover what became of the Mekong Maiden and Kwango Kate boats.

This update is not a tie-in to the upcoming live-action Jungle Cruise movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.
