What’s Happening:
- Disney+ has shared new posters for the upcoming film from Pixar Animation Studios, Luca, set to debut on June 18th.
- The posters feature the main trio of characters, represented individually. Luca (Jacob Tremblay), Alberto (Jack Dylan Grazer), and Giulia (Emma Berman).
- Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, the original animated feature is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the water’s surface.
- Along with the cast above, the film also features comedians Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan providing the voices of Luca’s parents.
- Although originally set for a theatrical release, the film will only be available to subscribers of Disney+, and will not be distributed to big screens everywhere. It will be available to all subscribers with an active subscription and will NOT be an additional charge as part of Disney+ Premier Access.
