Disney Channel is putting a spin on Friday the 13th and turning it into a FUN-lucky evening with a triple premiere that includes Disney Channel Original Movie, Spin, Descendants: The Royal Wedding and Disney’s Magic Bake-Off.

What’s Happening:
- The summer just got a bit more magical as Disney Channel announces the premiere of three originals coming to the network on Friday, August 13th.
- The fun begins at 8:00 pm ET/PT with the DJ-powered DCOM Spin about an Indian American teen who discovers her true passion for creating and producing beat-driven music.
- Immediately following Spin, viewers are invited to Descendants: The Royal Wedding! The highly anticipated animated event continues the story for Mal and Ben on their wedding day and features a brand new song by the cast of Descendants.
- Finally, right after The Royal Wedding, Disney Channel will debut the competitive baking show for kids, called Disney’s Magic Bake-Off. Dara Reneé (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and Issac Ryan Brown (Raven’s Home) host the delicious series.
- And Prior to all the new excitement, fans can catch the network TV premiere of Toy Story 4 at 6:15pm ET/PT.

Disney’s Magic Bake-Off
- Disney’s Magic Bake-Off is a new one-hour competitive series for kids 6-14 combining the wonder of baking with the ingenuity of young pastry chefs as they create the most extraordinary cakes inspired by the magic of Disney.
- Three teams of two race against the clock to design a Disney-inspired cake, including classics such as:
- Star Wars
- The Lion King
- Toy Story
- Descendants
- Zombies
- Co-hosts Dara Reneé and Issac Ryan Brown, along with Disneyland resort pastry chef Graciela Gomez, guide the kid bakers through fun challenges and unexpected twists, ultimately declaring a winning team to be named Disney Baking Champion.
- The winning recipe will become a featured Tastemade video available on Disney Channel and Tastemade social media platforms!
