It looks like another popular Marvel franchise could be coming to television — this time as an animated series. According to Deadline, Disney Channels Worldwide is developing an adaption tentatively titled Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The show will be executively produced by Laurence Fishburne (whose production company has an overall deal with Disney) and Helen Sugland. It’s unclear whether the series would air on Disney Channel or Disney XD, and the project has yet to be officially greenlit. As Deadline notes, “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur follows the adventures of nine-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette, an African-American girl who teams up with her crimson-colored dinosaur and uses her smarts to save the day.”
