During today’s Disney+ Showcase at D23 Expo, three exciting new Marvel series were announced, joining the already impressive slate of Marvel content planned for the streaming service.
What We Know:
- The popular young hero known as Ms. Marvel will be making her way to Disney+.
- Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, not to be confused with Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, is Marvel Comics’ first Muslim character.
- Joining her is the mysterious and slightly insane Moon Knight.
- Marc Spector is a U.S. Marine turned mercenary who came across the wrong Egyptian god at the wrong time. He’s just like any other nocturnal, crime-fighting hero, aside from his multiple personality disorder.
- And finally, She-Hulk will also be making her way to Disney+.
- The cousin of Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters was in serious need of a blood transfusion after being shot by a crime boss.
- With no other donors available, Banner provided his own blood, eventually leading to her transformation into She-Hulk.
- Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight are joining the already-stellar line-up of Marvel offerings coming to Disney+, including:
- WandaVision
- Loki
- The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
- Hawkeye
- What If…?
- And more.
