Disney isn’t done with the Muppets just yet. After both recent hits (The Muppets film) and misses (The Muppets TV show), Disney is now reportedly looking to bring the gang to their in-the-works streaming service. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Muppets series is among the many projects Disney will be debuting on the new platform once it launches in 2019. The proposed Muppets program joins a growing list of properties set to inspire series on the service including Star Wars, Marvel, Monsters Inc., High School Musical, and The Mighty Ducks. It’s also worth noting that Muppets reboot was actually on our streaming service wishlist. Disney declined to comment on THR’s story.
