Disney+ has ordered to series the six-part documentary, On Pointe from Imagine Documentaries and New York based production company, DCTV. The series will follow ballet students training for the New York production of The Nutcracker.

- Variety is reporting that Disney+ has ordered to series the six-part documentary, On Pointe.
- The documentary hails from Imagine Documentaries and DCTV, and follows students at the School of American Ballet as they prepare and train for New York City’s annual performance of The Nutcracker.
- The series takes a look at a year in the life of the American Ballet students highlighting their rigorous training, practice, and audition process to be part of the beloved ballet.
- Imagine and DCTV were granted access to the prestigious Lincoln Center school for this rare opportunity to look behind the scenes at the School of American Ballet.
- The series is executive produced by:
- Brian Grazer
- Ron Howard
- Justin Wilkes
- Sara Bernstein
- Matthew O’Neill serves as executive producer and showrunner.
- Larissa Bills will produce and direct.
