The Raya and the Last Dragon mural which appeared a few days ago at Downtown Disney over at Disneyland, has made its way over to Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort.
What’s Happening:
- To celebrate the release of Raya and the Last Dragon, Imagineer Xiao Qing Chen painted a mural featuring characters from the film.
- The mural is now able to be seen at both Downtown Disney and Disney Springs.
- Born in Malaysia, Xiao Qing Chen’s approach to the piece was to showcase the unique qualities of each character and how they came together to celebrate their differences.
- As an Imagineer, Xiao Qing Chen has contributed to projects at Disneyland (Incredicoaster), Hong Kong Disneyland (Castle of Magical Dreams), and the upcoming Fantasy Springs project for Tokyo DisneySea and the Journey of Water pavilion at EPCOT.
