ABC has ordered additional episodes of four of their comedy series, including black-ish and The Goldbergs, for the 2018-2019 season.
- The network has ordered two additional episodes for black-ish and one additional episode for each of the following series:
- The Goldbergs
- The Kids Are Alright
- Single Parents
- black-ish is in its fifth season and is created by Kenya Barris and executive produced by Barris, Jonathan Groff, Kenny Smith, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins, Gail Lerner, Courtney Lilly and Lindsey Shockley. The series is produced by ABC Studios.
- The Goldbergs is in its 6th season on the network and is executive produced by Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, Alex Barnow, Chris Bishop, Lew Schneider, David Guarascio and Andrew Secunda and produced by Happy Madison, Doug Robinson Productions and Adam F. Goldberg Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
- The Kids Are Alright is a new series from creator and executive producer Tim Doyle and ABC Studios.
- Single Parents is another new series from 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios and is created and executive produced by JJ Philbin and Elizabeth Meriwether with Katherine Pope, Erin O’Malley and Jason Winer also serving as executive producers.
