As much of EPCOT undergoes a transformation, even the park’s icon, Spaceship Earth, is in for some updates. Spaceship Earth will become part of the World Celebration neighborhood, and its interior will now reflect “the universal nature of the human experience.” The attraction will feature a new guide and some updated narration focusing on storytelling and how it brings people together. Finally, at the park entry, a new statue of Walt Disney will reside on Dreamer’s Point.

These Spaceship Earth changes are part of an overall, ongoing transformation of EPCOT, however as of July 15th 2020, plans for the refurbishment of the attraction have been posponed.
