We are just a couple of days away from the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and we are constantly learning more and more details about the new land. Disney CEO Bob Iger just revealed to CNBC that the new land will include things from Star Wars properties we have not yet seen.
- When asked about Disney+, the upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service, and how it might be connected to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Iger said “people have not seen The Mandalorian yet, but when they do they will quickly discover if they have been here that there are things in this park that are from The Mandalorian.”
- But that’s not all, Iger went on to explain that the future of the Star Wars franchise on the big screen will also be seen in the park, saying “nor have they seen the next Star Wars movie and that’s here too.”
