The Disneyland Resort has revealed their float for the 2016 Rose Parade. With the parade’s theme of “Find Your Adventure,” the float highlights the adventures that happen at the Disneyland Resort, while continuing to celebrate Disneyland’s diamond anniversary. At the center of the float is a recreation of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mickey and Minnie welcoming guests to the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration. On one side will be the ice castle from Frozen, along with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff. A new Frozen musical is coming to Disney California Adventure’s Hyperion Theatre in the summer of 2016. The other side of the castle features the world of Star Wars, with Seasons of the Force starting in November and construction beginning on a Star Wars Land at the beginning of the year.
The Disneyland Resort has participated in the Rose Parade in the past, but does not participate every year.
The Rose Parade will be broadcast on Disney’s ABC on January 1.
