Disney Junior has ordered a new animated comedy from creator Travis Braun (a writer on the network’s Vampirina) set to premiere in 2019. As Deadline reports, T.O.T.S. will feature best friends Pip and Freddy — a penguin and a lamingo, respectively. The two notably non-stork birds get a gig training at Tiny Ones Transfer Service (T.O.T.S.) delivering babies to animals of all species. According to the site, “Together, they will learn how to nurture and care for the babies and use creative thinking and problem solving to model for young viewers that there isn’t just one way to achieve a goal.”
In a statement, Disney Junior’s SVP of Original Programming, Joe D’Ambrosia, said of show creator Travis Braun, “Travis has created an imaginative and funny series that features all of the heart and relatable stories that Disney Junior is known for, while also encouraging young viewers to follow their high-flying dreams and recognize that, through teamwork and persistence, anything is possible.”
T.O.T.S. is expected to debut on Disney Junior in 2019.
