Enter this charming area of the Park that’s home to four Pixar themed neighborhoods. Here guests will encounter the stories that surround some of Pixar’s greatest characters. The beautifully reimagined Pier boasts gorgeous views, scrumptious treats, and some incredible experiences!

Knick’s Knacks

It would be silly to visit the Pier and not stop to shop! Located at the entry to Pixar Pier, Knick’s Knacks is home to themed merchandise featuring an assortment of Pixar characters. Occasionally, a Cast Member will be on site to display their artistic skills.

Lamplight Lounge

Formerly the Cove Bar, Lamplight Lounge will bring a casual elegance to the Pier and it’s guaranteed to be the place to visit. The restaurant offers seating for up to 200 guests on the upper level and 261 guests on the lower level. Guests will feel right at home in the “California casual gastro-pub” where they’ll be able to enjoy sweet and savory foods and signature cocktails as they take in the gorgeous views of the Pier.

Chef John State and his creative culinary team have put their spin on classic dishes presenting them in fun and unique ways. Adults and children alike will enjoy the colorful and tasty entrees, and shareable appetizers, desserts, cocktails, and mock-tails. Check out our preview review of the menu.

Abominable Snowman, Sasquatch, Big Foot, Yeti, call him what you will there’s no denying this white furred creature is a big dude. However, he’s a big dude with a big heart and just wants to make the best of any situation. Debuting in Monster’s Inc. the aforementioned Snowman started a sno cone business in the Himalayas. Well now he’s moved his business a little further South and redesigned his menu.

Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of tasty soft-serve treats from this quick service restaurant located at the Pixar Pier entrance. Serving up cones, floats, and the unique Pixar Pier Parfait.

Additional flavors of vanilla and chocolate soft serve will be on the menu as well. Fountain sodas will be served and guests will have the option to turn any soda into a float with their choice of soft serve.

Pixar-Themed Billboards

As guests enter Pixar Pier they will be greeted by beautiful themed billboards featuring characters from their favorite films. The Disney Parks Blog shared a sneak peek at some of the artwork on display.

Incredibles Park

Inspired by mid-century modern designs, Incredibles Park is as visually pleasing as it is unique. This section of the Pier will feature the reimagined Incredicoaster, and an Incredibles themed cookie cart.

The Incredicoaster is not only the fastest ride at the Disneyland Resort, but it also tells a complete story as guests zoom over the 1 1/8 mile track. The citizens of Municiberg have built a roller coaster and are dedicating it to their favorite Super family. Join the Parr’s for the first ride on the Incredicoaster that turns into a thrilling adventure as they try to catch baby Jack-Jack who’s escaped from his sitter, Edna Mode! Want more? Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums  

As guests exit from the ride, they’ll be met by the smell of cookies. This one-of-a-kind cookie cart will sell freshly baked cookies and ice cold, flavored milk. Of course you don’t have to ride the Incredicoaster if you don’t want to. The tasty treats are available to guests of all ages whether or not they’re thrill seekers.

 

Toy Story Boardwalk

Toy Story is the film that started it all, so naturally it has to have its own neighborhood on the Pier. Toy Story Midway Mania remains a fan favorite and the Boardwalk will welcome a new attraction, Jessie’s Critter Carousel and two quick service restaurants.

Shrink down to the size of a toy and get ready to play some midway games! This interactive 3D ride allows guests to compete against each other as they play four midway themed games. Smash plates, pop balloons, try your hand at ring toss, and aim for targets with suction darts all while trying to get the highest score! It’s all in good fun of course.

Toy Story 2 introduced audiences to the cheerful cowgirl, Jessie who had quite the knack for talking to animals. As part of her storyline in the TV show, “Woody’s Roundup”, Jessie would rely on a variety of critters to help get the gang out of some sticky situations. Jessie’s Critter Carousel will replace King Triton’s Carousel and features her favorite critter pals. Turtles, snakes, buzzards, armadillos, bunnies, deers, raccoons, rams, skunks or one of two cozy logs inhabited by a family of owls will all find a home on the Carousel.

Señor Buzz Churos

Buzz Lightyear’s “Spanish Mode” switch has be turned on and now he’s all about the traditional dessert. Stop by Buzz’s restaurant where he’s happily selling the tastiest churros in the Resort!

Poultry Palace

Guests of all ages and appetite sizes will enjoy a fun meal at Poultry Palace, a quick service restaurant inspired by the Pixar short film, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry”. The adorable eatery is even home to a miniature Emperor Zurg! So stop by for a bite to eat, take some fun pictures, and know no matter how old you are, you’ll leave feeling happy.

This delightful neighborhood will be where all your Pixar friends hang out. A variety of characters will appear throughout the promenade on everything from a quick service restaurant and an exciting attraction to competitive games and beautiful billboards. Guests will feel right at home surrounded by the charming pals in this friendly neighborhood.

Mickey’s Fun Wheel has undergone a big change to incorporate all the elements of Pixar Pier. The giant wheel is now Pixar Pal-A-Round and features 12 sets of Pixar characters on the colorful gondolas. Along with the character additions, the attraction has been repainted. Guests will continue to have the choice of riding in a stationary or swinging gondola, and Mickey Mouse’s smiling face will remain looking out over the Paradise Bay area.

Games of the Boardwalk

Games of the Boardwalk offer guests the opportunity to win prizes for a small fee. The games that have provided guests hours of fun will remain, but their stories and prizes have changed to match the Pixar Pier theme.

La Luna Star Catcher

Guests will collect the gorgeous stars in this game that at one time was Goofy About Fishing.

Wall-E Space Race

The friendly curious robot will headline this game that’s replacing Dumbo’s Bucket Brigade.

Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss

Heimlich and his love for tasty snacks takes over what used to be Casey at the Bat.

Bullseye Stallion Stampede

Bullseye’s remains the same due to his storyline fitting perfectly with the Pixar theme.

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff (Opening Summer 2018)

Everyone knows the emotions from Inside Out, but who could ever forget Riley’s lovable imaginary friend, Bing Bong? The part elephant, part cat, part dolphin pal kept Riley entertained for hours and now he’s at the Pier with his own candy store. Guests will be able to purchase a variety of sweet treats at the location including Rainbow Cotton Candy. They’ll also be greeted by a Bing Bong figure sitting in his classic red wagon, and yes, he’s crying candy tears. The Disney Parks Blog also shared exciting information about the menu being offered when the shop opens.

The delicious menu at Bing Bong’s will include so many tasty treats, it’ll be difficult to decide what to try first!

  • Pre-packaged saltwater taffy, Inside Out inspired flavored popcorn, lollipops, candies, Lemon Drops, Red Licorice, and Sour Apple Balls will be available to grab and go. They’re also great gifts to bring home to friends and family.
  • Guests looking for sweets to savor will enjoy the seasonal “Buddy” Cake Pops featuring favorite character sets like Baby Nemo and Dory, Woody and Buzz, and Wall•E and Eve.
  • If a cake pop isn’t enough, there’s always Caramel and Chocolate Apples! Indulge in a Granny Smith apple dipped in caramel and chocolate then decorated with marshmallows, fondant, and candy to look like Bing Bong and Rainbow Unicorn.
  • Finally, guests can enjoy Memory Refreshers – frozen drinks that will come in all colors and flavors! Two specialities are:
    • Rainbow Unicorn made with grape soda, blue raspberry soda, lime, cherry, lemon-lime and rainbow candies.
    • Imaginary Pal (inspired by Bing Bong) made with pink lemonade, grape soda with rainbow cotton candy, topped with a marshmallow flower.

Angry Dogs

Stop on by Anger’s hot dog stand for a savory, spicy treat. The angrier he get’s the spicier the hot dogs!

Inside Out Headquarters

This neighbor is still in development, but will be up and running soon. Located on the western end of the pier, the vibrant and colorful area inspired by Inside Out will be known as Inside Out Headquarters. A family-friendly attraction starring the emotions is scheduled to open in 2019.
