LEGOLAND Florida’s SEA LIFE Aquarium Previews an Underwater Ferris Wheel

Get a glimpse at the "Theme Park Under the Sea."

With the opening of the new SEA LIFE Florida at LEGOLAND Florida approaching, a new video has given us a glimpse at what will be found inside the attraction’s 150,000 gallon aquarium.

What’s Happening:

  • SEA LIFE Florida Curator Sarah hosts the quick video, who notes that the concept behind the aquarium is “Theme Park Under the Sea”
  • One way this concept will be demonstrated is with an underwater ferris wheel, which Sarah notes boasts “Underwater fiber optic lighting at each of the clamshells.”
  • The aquarium will be home to over 150 species and 3000 animals in total.

  • The SEA LIFE Florida attraction is scheduled to open this spring at LEGOLAND Florida.
  • The new SEA LIFE Aquarium at LEGOLAND Florida is described as an attraction that “will allow guests to discover the amazing wonders of the underwater world.  When the new attraction opens, guests will marvel at a diverse range of marine life, interact with captivating exhibits, and embark on a voyage of oceanic exploration,” culminating with the Theme Park Under the Sea. .
