Reports indicate that Disney is working on a live-action adaptation of Winnie the Pooh. The film is reported to be about an adult Christopher Robin who returns to the Hundred Acre Wood. Disney has hired Alex Ross Perry, the independent filmmaker behind Sundance film, Listen Up Philip, to create a vision for the film.
No release date or further information about the film was available. This move follows work on other adaptations of classic Disney animated films including Tim Burton’s Dumbo and the recently revealed Mulan film.
