The final Disneyland title dealing with Disneyland to date is “Disneyland Parade with Donald Duck�? (D123, 1971, second printing 1972)

The plot again finds Donald Duck causing havoc as he attempts to draw attention to himself in the Disneyland parade. By this late date in the series, the art was much more stylized. One of the most unusual images is of Mickey and an obviously annoyed Tinker Bell.

It seems that Tink would rather be taking a nap. But Donald has drifted away while clutching a bundle of balloons, and Mickey needs her help. So Tinker Bell bursts the balloons, just in time for Donald to join in the parade.

There are other Little Golden Books available that specifically deal with Disneyland. The early titles are a fascinating portrait of how Walt Disney and his artists wanted to present their vision to the public. And the images presented were, for many children, a pleasant way to regularly visit the happiest place on earth.
