Jafar believing that Aladdin is his ticket to the lamp saves him from the sword wielding guards by posing as his father and offer enough coins to cover the stolen goods and their trouble.

The Cave of Wonders closes leaving Aladdin, a magic carpet and the old lamp in the dark. The carpet through pantomime illustrates to Aladdin what he should do to the lamp but he doesn't understand the message. The younger audience members help Aladdin by yelling out "rub the lamp".
