The New Product Display included items that would be available “next semester�? from Walt Disney Art Classics Collection, Walt Disney Collectors Society, Disney Showcase Collection, Walt Disney Animation Art/Animated Animations, and Disney Fine Art/Collectors Editions.

The big meal event was scheduled for Saturday night. The Graduation Dinner and Sock Hop was set for Disney’s California Adventure. All students were encouraged to wear their finest 50s attire.

Gathered at Hollywood and Dine, successful candidates for graduation were first addressed by the ASB Class President. The Dean then officiated as each student received a diploma, and “turned�? their mouse-tail tassel from one side to the other. All then joined in a rousing rendition of the Medfield Fight Song.

Following a lengthy formal dinner, conventioneers were released to party the night away at Paradise Pier. Despite the presence of chaperones (to enforce dress code AND monitor the punch bowl), students were able to find time to cut up and play before the event ended at midnight.

Sunday morning started out with a “Coffee Clutch�? at 8am, for any students in need of a lift. Breakfast snacks, coffee and juice were offered to perk up revelers who had partied too hard the night before. At 9am, the first of two classes began.
